Hyatt House New York/Chelsea

Great location . Staff friendly. Large room( 2 bed queen with kitchenette) with large corner window which gave us a view of the freedom tower and Empire State Building .

The Suite was a great size for NYC and well equipped. Views from our 29th floor corner suite were AMAZING! Breakfast was meh but was included in room cost. Location spot on for tourists who want to be away from the craziness of Time Square but central enough to make their way easily around Manhattan and out to the other boroughs.

We visited from the UK for my wife's birthday, with our two teenagers. We stayed on the 18th floor and had an amazing dual aspect view. Room was sizeable with two large beds and a separate kitchen area with breakfast bar. The complimentary breakfast was great with a choice of cereals, breads, waffles, eggs, and bacon or sausages. There was also always fresh fruit, yoghurt and tea / coffee available. Be mindful that it could get very busy if you go down too late We went down most days 7-7.30am. Gym facilities were good though it is a small area so could get crowded. Great location, 10 minutes from Empire State Building and 20 from Times Square. Overall we were very happy and would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great during our fairly long stay. The room was spacious enough, with a view of the Empire State Building and a small kitchenette. It was cleaned daily. There was also a small gym on the rooftop with a view of the city. The staff were really nice and polite. The location of the hotel was perfect — the subway station was nearby, and we could also walk to many places from there.

We had an exceptional stay at Hyatt House! The room we had was on level 17, a corner overlooking 6th Ave and wow what a view!!! The room was spacious with the addition of the kitchenette and breakfast bar bench. The bathroom was very large too, which was great for our family of 4. Two things we always rate in hotels we stay - comfort of the beds and the quality of the shower. This hotel exceeded both. The complimentary breakfast is just want you need to start the day, with a few rotations of menu items each day. The staff each morning were more than helpful and very friendly. The fitness centre on the roof and the deck were amazing, with great views and the fitness centre was well equipped. Location is fantastic, access to various subway stations, and walkable to Madison Square Garden and Empire State Building. There are a number of grocery/markets nearby too so we were able to buy snacks and drinks. The reception staff were friendly and always accommodating to our requests. It's a bonus having a coin laundry too at the property.
